[BMB-005] Richard the Third – Emazweni EP

Following on from his recent South African Bass Music productions with African Dope and Spoek Mathambo, Richard the Third’s latest offering on Bombaada sees him working with Cape Town’s top Kwaito crew, The Ruffest (once again), on the track ‘Emazweni’ a Tech-House inspired Kwaito jiver, while on the digital flip, teaming up with Mother City Urban-Music dons Pyro and Brizo on the Bass & Piano Rave workout, “Hinj’umbhede”. As the sounds of Kwaito Bass grow day-by-day, with artists such as Jumping Back Slash and events such as Cold Turkey ever popularising the style, these two tracks are sure to find themselves in the soundtrack of many of South Africa’s current, and Europe and the State’s upcoming, blazing Summer parties.
